Building stronger clubs, safer communities and brighter futures.

Through boxing and evidence-based psychological programming, we train, develop and support trusted boxing clubs and other youth-serving organizations to strengthen the communities where young people grow.

Join the Fight What we do
★ Why we exist

The young people who need support most are often the hardest to reach.

Across the United States, billions of dollars are spent every year responding to the consequences of youth violence, poor mental health, school disengagement, and justice-system involvement. The economic cost is enormous. The human cost is immeasurable.

Communities facing the greatest violence and disadvantage often have the least trust in traditional institutions. The challenge isn't providing more services - it's creating trusted pathways into support, before risk becomes crisis and crisis becomes consequence.

Fighting Chance USA exists to change that - driven not by profit, but by purpose.

★ What we do

This is more than boxing. We combine the trust of community organisations with proven psychology and long-term capacity building.

Rather than delivering standalone programmes, Fighting Chance USA trains and certifies boxing clubs and community organisations to provide high-quality, psychologically informed support within the places young people already know and trust.

Our approach brings together:

Trusted community infrastructure

We work through organisations with deep local relationships, cultural credibility and an established place within their communities.

Evidence-based psychology

Our programmes use proven frameworks to develop emotional regulation, resilience, confidence, self-belief and positive decision-making.

Capacity building

We equip local organisations with the skills, systems and support to strengthen their delivery and sustain their impact over the long term.

Systems change

We connect organisations, improve referral pathways and help build stronger local networks around young people.

Fighting Chance USA does not simply deliver programmes. We strengthen the people and places that enable communities to create lasting change from within.

★ Our impact

The model is already delivering measurable results.

For more than a decade, Empire Fighting Chance has shown that boxing clubs and community organizations can become powerful platforms for mentoring, psychological development and behavior change - across delivery partners in the UK and Canada.

35,000+young people supported
160+organizations and boxing clubs trained across the UK and Canada
83%of participants' wellbeing improved
80%of participants' confidence and resilience improved
94%stopped getting into trouble
$7.9m+raised by boxing clubs to sustain their work since being trained

In Canada, every organization trained received five years of federal government funding - proof the approach works across different systems, communities and cultures.

"This is the sort of place you don't even realise you're being cured, but you are. What is being achieved here is so important, especially for our young people. It really is incredible to see." - Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, on Empire Fighting Chance
"With this program, we see an opportunity to build relationships with youth that are hard to build relationships with... being able to have those conversations that are really difficult without focusing on the barriers that the youth are facing." - Director, Encompass Community Safety Agency, Edmonton, Canada
★ Who we are

Building on over 20 years of innovation

Connected through their existing partnerships with Matchroom Boxing and a shared belief in the power of boxing to transform lives, Fighting Chance USA combines the proven approaches of Empire Fighting Chance and No Limits Academy to create new opportunities for young people across the United States.

Our foundation draws on the model pioneered by Empire Fighting Chance, the UK’s leading provider of boxing-based interventions, developed over 20 years and now reaching more than 10,000 young people each year.

Together with No Limits Academy’s deep understanding of young people and communities in the US, that experience is being adapted and enhanced - creating new programmes integrating boxing, personal development and trusted relationships to help young people overcome barriers, build confidence and fulfil their potential.

Proven in the UK. Built for impact in the US. No limits on what young people can become.
